EDUCATION IN MY COUNTRY: A THREAT TO THE POOR

The generation of leaders we have now are very wicked and lack foresight, I hate to say this but the present leaders will have shows not to be good representatives of the poor.

We need someone who is compassionate and understand the plight of Nigeria.

Awolowo gave free education but my generation got nothing. The case in the northern Nigeria is pathetic, the people have been cheated by their leaders since 1914 to believing that all what they needed is Arabic education which they didn't even provide.

The education problem is one of the important sector that is calling for URGENCY to push the govt to do the needful otherwise the country will get worse. If the previous govt have invested so much in education, the huge amount we are spending on fighting terrorism since 2009 would have been needless.

Churches have also caused more harm than good to the society concerning the education saga, the universities built by churches are not in anyway to help the poor, the amount of their school fees is ridiculous and never shows they are Jesus Christ representatives. The churches have forgotten that the poor token are part of the money using for the development of their schools.

What percentage of today's teachers are even trained ones?
