Daniel Agger Retires; Age 31

Denmark defender Daniel Agger has announced his retirement from football at the age of 31.
The former Liverpool centre-back made 232 appearances and scored 14 goals for the Anfield club after joining them from Brondby in 2006 winning just two silverwares, the League Cup and Community Shield.
He had 75 caps for his country, scoring
12 goals, and featured at the 2010 World Cup and 2012 European Championships.
"It's been a tough decision but I am pulling the plug; Agger said
"It has been difficult in recent years. The last two-three years I think I've been at an acceptable level. But acceptable is not good enough for me.
"I don't want my level to fall any further and so it was time to stop,"
He added on Twitter: "Thank you for your support. A great experience. It's sad but it's the right decision to stop."
Is it not too early at 31? It may be for the best.
