The London club signed Payet for £10m last summer, and he has made a great impact after just his first season at the club, scoring 12 goals and 15 assists in all competitions, which includes a number of superb free-kicks.
It has been confirmed by sources that West Ham believe elite clubs like Barcelona and Real Madrid might look to sign the French man prior to his performance.
Meanwhile, PSG have been reported to be keen on Payet despite no approach yet from them. A move worth £60m would make the 29-year-old one of the most expensive players of all time but, given his age, West Ham believe that he will remain at the club beyond this summer as Payet has been marked out a cornerstone of the club's current project.
