He was just a business friends with Olamide since he helped the label design the logo and help design most of Lil Kesh and Viktoh’s work after they joined YBNL nation.
He never sent his songs to the YBNL Boss(OLAMIDE) before he was signed to the label, after he dropped Sade, everybody in the YBNL team loved it, so 2days to OLIC concert, the first one ever, Olamide called him to come chill with him at the hotels for rehearsals;so 2 days after the concert, he called him that would love to work with him that he thinks his song is a future and he doesn’t want it to change, he quickly took the deal.
Adekunle Gold is set to drop his debut album this July.
