Former minister of aviation and chieftain of the pdp Mr Femi Fani- Kayode has said he is innocent of all charges preferred against him by the economic and financial crimes commission(EFCC). In a Facebook post after his release from detention after meeting his bail conditions yesterday fani kayode claimed he was being punished for his criticism of the government. saying, "I am innocent of all charges against me and I look forward to defending myself vigorously in court. The charges against me are politically motivated and I have been severely punished for my political views and criticisms of the government.
On his experience in detention, the former presidential campaign spokesman described it as the worst experience of his life. " I give thanks to God that I am free after 67 days I'm detention. I thank my wife, lawyers, children and friends for all their support. This was the worst experience of my life but God was with me all the way. I suffered immeasurably but I count it all as joy.
