After the ever-stressful day, I was really tired so I decided to have a rest under a big tree to enjoy the shade. Suddenly, my attention was drawn to a moving insect. My eyes were already opened wide. I began to wonder đŸ¤”; what made them so special? What made them unique? Wait!, why have they been so successful that they seem to survive in almost every where they find themselves?
Some even go far as having Kings, Queens, Workers and others. Each performing his function(s) wholeheartedly. Someone once gave some characteristics of insects, particularly the Termites. Come along with me as I share you some of them.
1. They work in UNISON. They work together to achieve great results even though they are individually powerless.
2. They are very organized. They know what to do at the right time and that's why you can never find them wanting.
3. They plan ahead for the future. An English man would say "Work while you work, Play while you play...to be Fruitful and happy, this is the way". The insects understand that burrowing during the dry season would be really hard, they therefore store up food during the raining season, so they won't have to suffer again in the nearest future.
4. They don't sit down and watch opponents destroy them. They are fully focused and courageous. They attack almost everything that messes up with their programme.
If only humans can learn some things from these creatures, the world would be a better place.
