Parents of the missing Chibok girls have dropped support for the Bring Back Our Girls (BBOG) group and did not take part in the protest of Monday, August 22nd.
The leader of the missing girls parents Yakubu Nkeki who lives in Chibok said they agreed not to take part in the protest as they did not want to provoke the government which is in the best position to help them find their missing daughters.
The parents are concerned that the comments made by their activist may have irritated President Muhammadu Buhari as he spoke sharply and dropped his microphone the last time they did put a call through.
Meanwhile the BBOG movement were denied access to the Presidential villa on Monday as part of their advocasy for the rescue of the abducted Chibok girls
