"The Journey" By Oyedotun Damilola Muees

THE JOURNEY

Someone once said "Life is what you make of it". Another said "Life are those activities you engage in your daily routine".

Everyone on this earth has different purposes to fulfill with the help of others. Though not everyone will fulfill such purpose, most times it's not how strong or smart you are.

Human beings are like travellers, we are not meant to be in a place for too long. The cycle of the normal human life start with being given birth to, growing up to be able to make choices and decide what path you want to go with. Then there is starting a family and eventually death. This cycle occurs in nature setting. Beyond this natural phenomenon, there's something peculiar humans want to be remembered for, some want to remembered for how many kids they had, the fleet of cars and number of houses they owned, others want to remembered for how hard and tough they were during their days.

The most important thing to be remembered for is how many lives you affected positively. That should be the goal of every human in life. When one eventually posses all he/she needs, what becomes of it when you leave this world - VANITY. The only immaterial thing we will take to the after-life is the joy in our heart of helping others.

Don't just live an ordinary life, Men are born ordinary, but great men do the extraordinary. Whatever gift or wealth you posses, make it count by using it for the benefit of others. Make a difference in life, that is when your journey will be well spent.
