Jose Mourinho To Face Ban


Manchester United boss Jose Mourinho has been charged with misconduct after he was sent to the stands during Manchester United's game with Burnley on Saturday.

The Portuguese was sent to the stands at half-time
Saturday after a furious bust-up with referee Mark Clattenburg.

Mourinho who was angered by Clattenburg's decision not to award United a penalty when Matteo Darmian went down in the box following a clash with Jon Flanagan.

Meanwhile, according to rules, Insulting and/or abusive language towards a match official carries a more severe punishment than general misconduct and the standard penalty is a fine and one-match
touchline ban if it is accepted by the manager.

Moreover,If contested and the person in question is found guilty, the penalty will be a fine and two-match ban.

According to a statement from the FA on Tuesday afternoon:
"Jose Mourinho has been charged with misconduct following Manchester United's game against Burnley on Saturday October 26.
"It is alleged that in or around the tunnel area at half-time he used abusive and/or insulting words towards a match official. He has until 6pm on November 4 to respond to the charge."
