Barcelona manager Luis Enrique says Lionel Messi's international retirement is a plus on Barcelona's side.
Lionel Messi called it up on international football as Argentina lost to Chile in the 2016 Copa America final and it has brought a lot of talks.
However Luis Enrique has said it wouldn't be bad for Barcelona as Messi made that decision;
"Speaking as Barcelona's head coach, it
wouldn't be bad for us," Luis Enrique said. "It means fewer games and trips away for Messi.
"I'm not saying it's a perfect situation but he could have more time to rest.
"He said that after a difficult time, after
losing a final. So he still needs to confirm whether or not he part of the international team.
"As a football fan, I would like to keep
watching him play for Argentina. But as Barcelona's head coach.... Let's see what happens."
